Frog City Feast is an offline, single-player iPad game. It has no account, cloud save, ads, in-app purchases, multiplayer, or online service.

Getting started

  1. Hold the iPad in landscape.
  2. Choose an existing local player or enter a new profile name.
  3. Choose Start New Game.
  4. Follow, skip, or later replay the illustrated tutorial.

Core controls:

  • Tap open ground to move.
  • Double-tap or hold a target to use the tongue.
  • Drag with a second finger to rotate the camera.
  • Open Options for timing assistance, camera settings, Reduce Motion, larger text and controls, optional haptics, and left-handed HUD layout.
  • Open the Belly to digest or safely spit out swallowed items.
  • Open the Guide for discoveries, goals, powers, and story postcards.

Troubleshooting

The game has no sound

Check the iPad volume, then check Master, Music & ambience, and Effects in the game’s Options. Each control is independent and a zero setting mutes that category.

Movement or tongue input is difficult

Select Relaxed timing or Hold Assist, increase control size, adjust camera sensitivity, enable camera auto-alignment, or use the camera reset action.

Progress could not be saved

Keep the in-game warning visible, confirm the device has free storage, and avoid force-closing while a save is being written. The game preserves an unreadable or unsupported save instead of overwriting it.

A new game removed city changes

This is expected. Start New Game creates a fresh city, score, growth state, and Belly. Profile discoveries, achievements, clues, powers, preferences, and tutorial completion remain local and persistent.

Remove all local game data

Delete the app and its app data through iPadOS, then reinstall if desired. Offloading can preserve documents and is not equivalent to deletion. There is no server account or cloud profile to remove.

Contact support

Open the public support issue form with:

  • Frog City Feast version and build number;
  • iPad model and iPadOS version;
  • the action being attempted;
  • the exact visible error message; and
  • concise reproduction steps.

The issue and all entered information are public. Do not include names, email addresses, Apple account information, device identifiers, passwords, certificates, provisioning profiles, API keys, financial information, or other personal or sensitive data.
